The expansion project for this retirement home aimed to increase the size of the dining room and to create a new, more modern main entrance accessible to the clientele. The main challenge was to integrate a new volume between two existing buildings built at different times. On the one hand, a brick building of heritage interest and on the other hand a newer construction including several construction challenges including a basement parking under the new volume.

Some redevelopments on the existing ground floor were also part of the project to modernize the spaces and meet the new needs. The mandate has also evolved to interior design; choice of furniture, fabrics, finishes, accessories (plants, lamps, etc.) so that clients have a complete revitalization of the RDC at the conclusion of the project
